Healing from the Inside Out: A Biblical Path to Wholeness

In this post, I contrast the pursuit of healing through chakra cleansing with the Biblical truth that only the finished work of Jesus can truly cleanse and restore us.

As we approach a new feast cycle, I find myself reflecting deeply on the year ahead and seeking the Father’s guidance for what He would have me do. There’s a burning desire in my heart to honor Him with my life and actions, and this longing brought me to tears today as I remembered the first prophetic word ever spoken to me: “God is not mad at you.”

That word still touches the core of my being. It reminded me that God isn’t counting our sins against us, and this profound truth fuels my mission to spread the Good News. God has a deeper understanding of our actions and the incredible mercy that calls us to freedom and transformation.

In times of reflection, when I sit in the presence of the Holy Spirit, I often receive words from Scripture to ponder. Today, Proverbs 4:23 stood out: “Guard your heart.” As I looked up the verse, I was struck by the admonition in multiple translations: “Keep it with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” This call to guard the heart moved me to release my fear of man and boldly proclaim the Good News. Our bodies, God’s temple, can be cleansed, renewed, and made whole through the blood of the Lamb and the power of our testimony.

Many people turn to practices like chakra healing in search of balance and peace. The word “chakra,” meaning “wheel” or “circle” in Sanskrit, refers to energy centers within the body that interact with our physical and spiritual health. While some seek healing by cleansing these energy centers, doing so can leave them spiritually vulnerable. Jesus warned us about this vulnerability in Luke 11:24-26:

"When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first."

Rather than seeking external methods of cleansing, we recognize that our souls are sevenfold, much like the menorah, and that we can find true healing by cleansing our mind, will, and emotions in light of the finished work of Jesus. Each feast cycle offers us an opportunity to reflect on one of these spiritual "energy centers" and ensure that we are abiding in truth.

I invite you to walk with me through this transformative journey of the Feast Cycle, where we embrace the truth of Jesus' sacrifice. Each year, as we align ourselves with His work, we can be confident that He is moving us from glory to glory, uncovering the issues within our souls and inviting us to make necessary trades. As we confess and release the old, His power will flow freely within us. It is time for us to fully walk in all that Christ has purchased for us. The world is waiting for us to shine as beacons of His love and truth.
